Expo: May 15, 16, 17
Bosque Sculpture Expo, presents its
first
annual Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition in
Clifton, Texas under the leadership
of the Clifton Arts Network CAN!. The Expo
recognizes outstanding
sculptors and promotes sculpture as an important art
medium in the State of Texas.

Sculpture Walk Juried Show: Large
scaled outdoor works will be juried in and
remain on display for one year
to create an outdoor sculpture walk in
Clifton's Historic Downtown. Sculpture
must be durable and safe
to be installed in a public forum.
Entry Fees: Outdoor Sculpture
- $30 (nonrefundable) $75
for 3 entries
size: minimum height 3' - maximum height 12'

Method of
Submission: Place images on a CD containing 3 views of
each piece,
with: 1) titles, 2) sizes,
3) price, 4) artist bio, 5) medium. Images of
accepted works will be
used on website and advertising materials. Include a SASE and a check
payable to: Bosque Sculpture Expo 2009 114 N.
Avenue D. Clifton, Texas, 76634 .
Deadlines: Entries must be
received by April 1st , 2009
Notification: Artists
will be notified by April 11th , 2009
Installation: May 4th -10th
Sculpture Walk artists must arrive with art and assist in
installation; work must be prepared with steel base plate
or
other means to
securely attach it to pedestal or pad.
Other:
*There will be no substitutions after
work has been juried into show..
*All awards and decisions are at the
sole discretion of the jury committee.
*Each submission to Outdoor Sculpture
Expo must be original art
and
completed within the last 3 years.
*Insurance:
Sculptures accepted and
installed for the Sculpture Walk, will
be insured by the City of
Clifton for the “Insurance Value” listed
on your entry
form; this is less than the retail
price (approximately 65% of
retail).

Popular Choice Award presented
Guides for
information about the art and artists, walking and driving tour of the
sculptures will be available in galleries on Main Street.
